Jeffery D. Frazier Jeffery D. Frazier was appointed Vice President of Intellectual Property for Applied Biosystems in January 2007. He originally joined Applied Biosystems in 2001 as a Senior Patent Attorney. Subsequent to that, Mr. Frazier served as Director of the legal department's Mechanical, Optics, and Software Practice Group, and then Senior Director of Patent Prosecution and Counseling. Mr. Frazier brings more than 20 years of intellectual property experience to his position, having served as a Patent Attorney at Genencor International, Inc., as a law-firm Intellectual Property Attorney, as a Trademark Examining Attorney with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, and as a Patent and Trademark Searcher. Mr. Frazier earned a Juris Doctorate from George Mason University School of Law, a Master of Science in Biotechnology from Johns Hopkins University, and a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from the University of Virginia. |
