Step 1: Manipulations within the 7700 software:
- Open the SDS data file to be analyzed.
- Analyze the data and set the
baseline and threshold values according to Applied Biosystems guidelines.

- From the File menu, select "Export"
and "Clipped data". You may either export all of the data or data from selected
wells (click the appropriate button).
- The default file name will be
"data.clipped". Provide a name and file location for this data. It is suggested
that you keep the suffix .clipped.
Step 2: Open a new Workbook in Microsoft Excel:
Select "File", "Open". Open the .clipped file.
Create a chart by either selecting
"Chart" from the "Insert" tab, or by clicking the Chart Wizard button. Select
XY (Scatter) as the chart type, and select the Chart sub-type shown. Click "Next".
